- Confirmation: The client receives confirmation of their appointment via their preferred method (email, text, phone call).
Step 2
Pre-appointment:
- Reminder: The client receives a reminder about their appointment closer to the date, often with helpful information like directions and what to bring.
- Preparation: Depending on the service, the client may need to complete forms, gather medical records, or take specific actions beforehand.
- Virtual option: If available, the client can confirm their attendance or update information online or through a mobile app.
Step 3
Attending the appointment:
- Check-in: The client arrives at the designated location and checks in with reception staff.
- Consultation: The healthcare provider meets with the client, gathers their medical history, discusses their concerns, and conducts any necessary examinations.
